Parksie

Though he didnt come here often, and not for a long time, I am sure there are a few of you around who knew him, and I believe that it needs to be said.

Mike "Parksie" Parks was found dead earlier today. It was almost certainly suicide. No details have been released yet, but he left a note for binary hero. The last time he ever spoke to anyone was on irc at 01:10 Friday night.

Although I never knew Mike as well as some people, when I did meet him he was a really funny, kind and just cool person who I would gladly have around. I still have a photo of me and him, and to look at it still makes me laugh and remember the fun.

Rest In Peace Mike.

It is so sad to see someone who is so kind and intelligent fade away, while he could have had such a bright future.

I can only hope that he is at peace now.

Rest easy, my friend.

he was always a kindrid spirit of mine on irc. one of the only reasons I ever considered getting back on there.

And On that day, the Lords of the land said unto their Master Architect, "The temple you have made to the gods of Wasabi and Maki has brought us no great prosperity" and they sent out him into the lands.

As he traveled to a far off land, he found he wasn't traveling alone, but that he had gained companions, and when they found their new land, they started work on a new temple, one that would be OPEN to all who wanted to worship.

I'm stunned!

Mike was a good guy. I fairly talked to him, but he was always willing to help somebody out if they had troubles.

W..T..F..

Wow, seriously, at a loss of words. Spoke to him in passing on IRC a few times and... wow.

*shakes head*

It's really a shame that some people feel the need to commit suicide, if that turns out to be the case. I'll just never understand how one thinks the best way to go about solving their problems is by ending their life...

My condolances to his family.

But to be honest, I'm not sad. I'm happy. Finaly he has found whatever there is beyond this world, if there is of corse but thats a whole other kettle of fish... ..or should that by kettle of Dieties? uhg.

Anyway, I'm faily sure he would not want us to be siting around moping about what a great person he was. Go out and Celibrate his life and his works. Bring photos to share with the rest of us.

I myself did not know him well, and I admit that quite freely. So I cannot realy feal the sence of loss the rest of you, who knew him, share.
