Admins,
would you please release the IP of my friend's channel? http://69.90.133.217:8000/ I am sure he has solved the problem and his machine has 100 Mbps bandwidth. Thanks in advance. -jingxin |

thanks a lot for your trying to help.
i just changed its IP by adding 1: http://69.90.133.218:8000/;stream.nsv it still shows as: --------------------------- <08/09/04@00:02:30> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak) <08/09/04@00:02:30> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (This network has been permanently banned due to a previous vio\) ------------------------------- seems the yp.shoutcast.com can't connect this server? but i can see this channel with winamp without any problem. |

![]() let me make it clear, for some reasons, this server needs to change its IP after running a while, maybe once per day. it's running on a linux box. before it changes its IP, a script first kills all "sc_serv" processes, then changes its IP, then restarts all sc_serv processes again. May I know if it's an acceptable way for the bot? thanks. -jingxin |

That's the autoban msg. Apparently members from 2001 can be wrong but still think they're right? ![]() ...get Nullsoft to [accept] new moderators? ... election? ... If Inedible Bulk is the candidate, then I give my vote. |

well typically this is true. If you have been banned that is it, no way out. However lately people around here have grown some hearts. However patience is limited.

pls, at least i should know the reason for the ban and what's the right way to operate.
with 100Mbps, bandwidth should not be the problem, if auto IP-changing is forbiddened, would you please kindly tell me if it's ok that i shut down the shoutcast servers, change IP manually, wait one or more hours, then restart the shoutcast server from the new IP? |
