Stream delay..

Ive been using NSVCAP and shoutcast to stream live video from a webcam. Ive noticed that the delay can sometimes get up to 2 - 3 minutes delay.

Ive tried using numerous amounts of different settings but it always seem to be lagged. is there any way to overcome this?

Thank in advance

Nope. SHOUTcast is not real time, nor is ment to be. The server and the client buffers to provide a higher quality of service and prevernt skipping. If you are looking for a real time solution, SHOUTcast is not it.

Thank you for the info.

It maybe the wrong place to ask but if shoutcast is not what im looking for, could you reccommend something else for real time streaming?

Thanks

Send a message via Yahoo to jingxin
Microsoft Windows Encoder is a little bit better.
