ER trip

So..... I went to the ER on Monday. I was having some chest pain and breathing was different. I went and the do an EKG and some blood work. Pee sample and chest x-ray. All came back "normal". The whole time I was there I noticed my blood pressure was around 133/108-143/112. None of these Dr people said a damned thing about it. I hate Banner.

I think all my issues was just high blood pressure. Who knows.

that is indeed a high pressure,
it's not the 143 that is high, it's the 112

i'm 2 meters , 105 kg and my normal pressure is 112/75
low bloodpressure runs in the family
when i have to get my bloodpressure taken it's often they do it at least 3 times to make sure the equipment isn't failing.

Well at least one is now going back to normal , the 125 but the 105 is still very high.

Stress? or is it the food consumption ( greasy food).... or perhaps you were born with it

So if I remember correctly, it’s systolic / diastolic.

You can somewhat play fast and loose with the systolic number ... but diastolic must be below 80.

Diet. Exercise. Salt. Stress. Keto. All solve diastolic issues.

So do drugs. I was on BP meds ... had other problems too ... kicked them all when I went keto.

If you do keto ... just check your cholesterol every few months ... plz... k ... thx ... bai.

Most of the last of weeks it's been 125/~95. Unless I'm somehow using the cuff wrong.

The cuffs do need to be calibrated against a real measurement. Typically OMRON are the most accurate, but they still need to be baselined.

X/95 isn’t the best. Make an appointment with your GP.

That’s about where I was before I started keto and the lowest dose of lisnopril. Luckily, I’ve been able to balance the lisnopril with keto ... hopefully that will hold, but if it doesn’t I’ll gladly start taking the meds again.

I need to get an appointment. I just don't have any insurance at the moment. Dr visit is $120 out of pocket and I don't want them to tell me that nothings wrong with me. Because that has happened before.

still a very strange system in the USA,
Here you can't have no insurance.
You have to have insurance otherwise you don't get any help and for those who can't afford it due to a lack of income it's taken care off by means of a tax deduction ( the monthly payment is done by the goverment , straight to the insurance compagny)

Original post was December 9th and it's nearly January 4. If you're still not getting good numbers, someone needs to give a valid reason why or escalate your case to a specialist.

Numbers are up and down. Very inconsistent. For the week leading to Christmas my pressure was down to something like 120/80. Now it's back up and down day to day. I'll be good today but tomorrow not so much.

I'm also really bad about checking regularly and writing it down.
