Winamp interface with Windows 10 File Explorer

I have recently reconfigured my desktop PC, installed a new version of Windows 10 (old was Windows 7 with Microsoft free upgrade to Windows 10). Now I have Winamp - File Explorer interface problems. Textual changes made in MP3 files in Winamp are not incorporated in the corresponding files in File Explorer. Consequently, with a clean start of Winamp all these text changes have disappeared. This is for me a serious problem since I have about 200,000 MP3 files. Only some 2% is affected. All new entries into Winamp have this problem too. Please advise what to do.

Are you talking about tagging issues? like file explorer isn't showing the correct tags?

Current status of Winamp: (Winamp 5.8) is not an ongoing project get wacup

5.8 beta issue quick fix - Install 5.666 (there's no further 5.8 releases)

This sounds like a tagging issue. ID3v1, ID3v2 and APE are the main tag formats Winamp can read/write to.

You might want to try editing your tags with MP3tag instead. It's free and has much better support for multiple audio & tag formats.
