DJ / User ID & password issue

installed winamp & SHOUTcast Plugin

1. http://localhost:8000/admin.cgi not working

2. SHOUTcast Source DSP v2.3.5 --> Output

DJ / User ID & Password ?

I didn't get any password.

when i try to connect....it try and try...?

you need to have a DNAS to connect to, be it one you've setup or one that you're using via hosting service. from what you've put, it sounds like this is not something you have... ?

as without a DNAS, the Source DSP will have nothing to connect to once you enter the correct details from the DNAS into the Source DSP's configuration (which is where the password would come from).

Ok so Ive got an issue with connecting to the server as well but I got the http://localhost:8000/admin.cgi working and it says that This stream is configured but has no source connected. Been at it for hours and can not get to connect in the dsp plugin
any help would be great thanks!

here is what it says in the server admin,
Stream ID: 1
Server Address: 127.0.0.1 (*)
Source Port: 8000
Password: Caitlyn1
Max Bitrate Allowed: Unlimited
Protocol Mode: v2, v1
