Sync Problem

So I finally got the WinAmp app and synced everything over. It worked great. I added a few more songs to my PC library and tried to re-sync with my phone and now it is trying to transfer my entire library back onto my phone rather than just the few new songs. It says "there are 5675 songs which are not in the library" but I just added them from the library.

Help?

I found the problem but I am not sure why it is happening. Sync is bringing over the songs with a number at the beginning, like so. My phone is on the left, PC on the right.

actually, isn't the punctuation / hyphen first, as opposed to the number? b/c maybe thats it, as opposed to the number?

my filename scheme is:

Artist - # - Title.mp3

where "Artist" is actually the album artist. works well. for compilations its:

Album - # - Artist - Title.mp3

where "Artist" is actually the track artist. the benefit of this is keeping it all orderly in win exp views, (one folder per CD), and knowing what it is and where it came from without needing tags, etc, (useful if the track gets misplaced, lost, damaged tags, etc)

mp3tag can batch rename files for you based on tag info.
