Option to use FreeDB instead of Gracenote for Autotag

It seems that Gracenote is filled with horribly incorrect information, or a lot of my music is on albums named "Now! Volume ##" or "NuTraxxx" or some bullshit. Can we please get the option to use FreeDB instead?

from the wishlist thread...

in_cdda
FreeDB support
Unable to due to Gracenote licensing agreements.
nothing stopping someone trying to implement it as a 3rd party plugin but would be tricky to get it working i think since there's no way for in_cdda to request data from another (3rd party) source

Any possible way you guys could make something secret that's in the Windows registry or something? Or some way we could do an API injection?

personally i'm going to say no but then again i don't trust either systems and prefer to manually enter track titles from the cd (i can never understand how people get such a simple thing wrong). but basically due to the clout of gracenote i doubt any real api (hidden or not) would be allowed.

that plugin kicked ass back in the day but it wasn't open sourced nor updated often enough.
