For anybody that had there Server hooped by the wonderful crew over at Live365.com today, it was to insert a cute little banner that goes something a little like (Live...live...live365...) and the beginning of our streams....Oh joy, just one more reason to start looking at going commercial through sponsorships and ad revenue. And they are still having major problems keeping the streams up and running, so just be aware, today is a black day for Live365.com

you're one of the luck ones who didn't have this happen to your stream over a week ago. they will be inserting instreams ad's in the next few months as well, however, before they roll that out, they will allow you to opt out (for a price). So id you want, you will be able to get rid of that annoyance too....they did give plenty of warning about these ads....they should not have been a suprise.

If you paid attention to the live365 emails you would have known about these for awhile now.

True, I knew about this and I really don't care about Live365 at all

BIGDADDY,

I don't subscribe to the e-mail service they send out, so did I know about, no, and quite honestly I really could have cared less. Guess I'm not part of your Live365.com elite group eh BIGDADDY, damn...Well I'll try hard next time.

I went to listento my stream today, and not only was there the "Live365" thing at the beginning, but following that was an ad for "New Orleans Free Radio" or something like that. I'm getting away from Live365 ASAP. They should have had an opt-out option available before they inserted anything in our streams.

My point exactly, even if it costs $100 a month or so, I still would have went that way. How discouraging, what is Live365.com coming to, oh well, guess they need a way to keep the lights on before going IPO..
