You can get the VC++ compiler freely by downloading the .Net SDK from the Microsoft website. However it is the compiler only and I'm not sure It'll be a real help for your language pack
![]() You may avoid boring painful compiling work by just playing with resources: 1/ Take an existing language DLL, lets say a translation into gibberish 2/ Extract resources from winamp.exe (which should be more or less in english ![]() 3/ Replace the gibberish resources in the DLL by the ones from Winamp 4/ Translate the english strings into your language (you may have skipped the third step if you were able to translate directly from gibberish!) 5/ Rename the DLL and you're done ![]() Look for the "resource hacker" tool on Google. It's very easy to use to play with resources, it costs no money and generally makes a good job. |
