Cylob - all this multitasking has caused you to put those primal scream albums round the wrong way..

Massive Attack - Mezzanine
One of the best album's of the 90's

Massive Attack - 100th Window
Lame in most respects - music, lyrics, choice of vocallists, variety

Orac - you're just biassed towards any C86 type music. Give Out But Don't Give Up is a cheap imitation of Motown. A great holiday for Denise Johnson.

Come on orac - Mezzanine's 10,000 times better than 100th Window (and you know it).

Massive Attack's backlash will come...

100th Window has no soul. It's limper than a mircowaved lettice-leaf.

I can't understand why they used Sinnead O'Connor, she's a has-been throw-back (and not at all suited to electronica). A bad move. Using a throw-back won't take the band fowards. And the lyrics are amatuerish to say the least. 0.5/5 for me.

Happy Mondays - Pills 'N' Thrills and Bellyaches (1990)

AMG quote "A swirling, neo-psychedelic kaleidoscope of hallucinogenic drugs, trippy beats, borrowed hooks, and veiled threats, Pills 'n' Thrills & Bellyaches is Happy Mondays' masterpiece and the peak of the entire Madchester craze."

Happy Mondays - Yes, Please! (1992)

AMG quote "By the time of 1992's Yes, Please, Happy Mondays had succumbed to the excessive lifestyle they had so enthusiastically promoted."

Yes, it would be hard writing a follow-up when you're stuffed full of heroin (isn't that right, Shaun).
