pretty self-explanatory, ain't it? my sound card or something doesn't let me record a .wav file (i want to sample some vocals) when Winamp is playing an audio CD. says "Audio is in use by another application" or some such.

thats a bit obvious, winamp is using ur soundcards wave mapping device.

in other words, you can't drive a car two ways at the same time...

well, i kinda figured that. is there a way to fix that? the regular CD-playing program that came with windows doesn't do that. nor do any of the other sound utilities.
