Artists whose music you like but think are otherwise unbearable

Self explanatory

I'll start

Morrissey (lead singer of the Smiths)
New Order (mostly singer B.Sumner and bass player P.Hook)

Up to you now

I like Bernard!!!!! I wouldn't mind a night on the tiles with the NO crew.

For me, the no.1 asshole has to be Shaun Ryder (and sidekick Bez). I love the Happy Mondays, but that guy's the biggest wuzzock that ever walked the earth. I'm suprised he's still alive.

Remember when he went on TFI Friday, and turned the air blue?

Can I have it the other way round - nice people, unbearable music? I'm thinking Rachel Stevens from S Club 7. Hubba hubba

I never watched TFI Friday as it would mean looking at Chris Evans.

I do remember Ryder on that Friday night C4 programme. He was higher than a kite, and announced that 'The Happy Mondays' had split and reformed as 'The Mondays'. It was a television classic.

I have to add Marc Almond. I mean, who in their right mind would get a back-stage pass to a Soft Cell gig????

Give Marc a back-stage pass and you're buggered.

Which Oasis track(s) do you like sidd???? I like 3 or 4. Possibly 5.

Remember when Liam had his teeth punched out on tour in Germany? The lucky sod who delivered the blow.

I liked a couple of songs from their first albums, that's pretty much all, since I hate the Beatles, Oasis...

Never heard about that punch thing but yes, cool for the puncher

edit : but I remember a show in France, they left the stage (and didn't come back) after only 7 minutes. Motive : a shoe had landed on the stage

Their fan base is ever diminishing. I never approved of the mega-hype during 94/95 so I passed them by. But they've done well to survive the bursting of the bubble.

As that appears to have flown over everyones head, I'll just add a in for good measure ...

@'seer _ yeah, but look what you can do with a shoe if you pack it with enough plastic explosive, anyone say "shoe bomber"

@fickle- Yeah, Mcartneys a dick, but he's loaded with cash and has a wife 30 years his junior, so he can't be that much of a dick.

Time for a joke I think, did you hear what Paul McCartney got his wife for Xmas?
He got her a plane......

Highlight for punchline...
Spoiler: and for her other leg he got her a phillips ladyshave

I like the songs of Air Supply but those two men are not that charming!

All pop music is good music but all good music isn't pop music
Wanna know more about pop music or my boy-bands?
