Simulataneous playback

Long time user and fan, first time post/remarker. I thought a useful feature for winamp would for it to be able to play more than one item at the same time (!)

Think about it, sure I can use WMP to listen to a podcast with winamp playing something ambient simultaneously, but why WHY should I ? I want winamp to be the dominator of the audio.
So I figure a simple plugin would allow this and if anyone has made one Im not aware of please tell me, if any of the developers read this then how abt that or other user/devs.
hail you nullsoft guys keep up t good work.

the playback core is not designed to do this and so would require a hefty re-code i believe

About opening a new instance of winamp.
I can think of one way of doing this, by using the 'run as' feature to run it under another user account. How else might I run a second instance?

Whilst Winamp is running/focused, hit Ctrl+Alt+N

Or, checkmark "allow multiple instances" in Winamp > Prefs > General Preferences
and double-click the winamp shortcut again.
