Move Winamp to SD card

With the new version I cannot move winamp to SD card. The process keeps running in the background even after exiting the winamp.

As far as I understand Android it is of no consequence to have programs running in the background as unlike Windows, they do not use any system resources and actually take up more memory to keep closing and reloading.
I use to use an app killer, horrified at all the programs open but was set straight by a tech guy I trust.
I now no longer keep closing programs and have not noticed any slow down or power consumption increases from when I was closing them all the time.
