songs remaining in queue after being played

In playlist editor, under Jump to file/Queue list:
Is there a way to keep songs from remaining in the queue after being played?
I like this handy queue list, but it is annoying when I leave my system after setting 4 or 5 songs to play, then when songs repeat people wonder why the same song is playing again.
It doesn't always repeat. I have repeat set to off on main player window.
Have had this issue for years...jus downloaded newest Winamp...still does it.

I searched for 30 mins. for answer, not found.

the queue is meant to clear out as soon as the queued item is started - it's _never_ meant to keep things in the queue and my initial guess would be that something is interfering with the JTFE plug-in (which implements the queue feature) and is preventing it from properly processing the Winamp playing updates i.e. due to other 3rd party plug-ins being present.

I kinda get what you are saying, but I'm not up on all the in-depth workings.
I do also have Pacemaker and other plugins running.

I guess to suggest a fix on the next release I would have to correctly diagnose the source of the error. I will try to do that. Thanks.

if you have other plug-ins, you'd need to either disable them to find the cause or even better post a plug-ins list (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....161361#plugins) so possible culprits can be identified.

otherwise, from my side there is not much at all at that i can do for an issue which i'm unable to replicate which means there is nothing for me to even work on to 'fix' for any future update.

they're not by chance things like cd entries or web streams? as i've come across a quirk where it's not advancing correctly when playing a cd.
