Setting reset to default when I start winamp

I typically use Winamp Pro a couple times a day with some bluetooth headphones on my Samsung Captivate. Recently when I flashed Serendipity 6.4 on to my phone Winamp developed a problem where my settings wouldn't stay. This is really frustrating as I have to re-tick the "use winamp to control headset" button as well as fix my EQ every time I run the app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change. I hate to create a new thread, but I couldn't find anyone else with this problem.
