real player only lists stations that broadcast in real player format. If you broadcast in real format, your station will probably be listed.

windows media player needs the windows media encoder and ou need to select there server , etc.

itunes im not familer with sorry

how do I broadcast in real format also for windows media don't I need a server too? (where can i get one)

go to www.real.com (real player's website). Click on the support page on real and you can ask them your question.

They'll answer you in about a day.

Windows Media agreement is pretty clear - you MUST be using a Windows Media encoder. You can have additional stream servers inline but the main server has to be WMA.

As far as Real I've never had them respond to listing requests in several years. They generally are more interested in pushing their pay-to-listen service and only list a small number of non-subscription services.

Itunes was accepting stations for their new Itunes software but they require you to have a minimum number of slots (somewhere like 100 - 300) according to my old stream host. You might find thad address info doing a search of the forums as I know it's been brought up before.
