No fuckin kiddin, I only sent you a PM about it 3 or 4 days ago....

Didn't you see the huge big pop up box that says "YOU HAVE A NEW PRIVATE MESSAGE" pop up at some point in the last few days? or can you disable that in your user prefs?

/edit, yes you can disable it by all accounts, let this be a lesson to you all, enable the notification box, you might recieve something interesting worth reading one day...

I don't know if I have it checked or not, but I have the browser set to "REFUSE POP-UP WINDOWS", and that makes browsing [pr0n] sites a much more rewarding experience. I'm not going to allow popups just to see a stupid pm-notification, but I get an e-mail whenever I have a new pm

... and congratulations, marc

That skin was in limbo for a bit while an allegation of it being a rip was investigated, and was republished on Feb 13.

Congratulations Marc. I always liked the Parallell Futures skins, and even nominated one of them in the short-lived "nominate skins for featuring" thread we had a while back.

I don't know if a browser would class it as a "pop-up window". It's just a little box of the "OK" & "Cancel" variety. But what would I know about how browsers work

It's a great option; it made organising contests considerably easier for me.

But then it opens a pop-up window (I think there's an option whether to open in a new window or in current window).

Oh, is it a javascript message box (or similar) then? Then it might not be blocked.

P.S. Visiting 1001 without popups is one of the best experiences I've had

I always used "NoAds", a pop-up-killer someone at 1001 emailed me ages ago. Without it, I probably would have developed a nervous twitch by now.

It's not a pop-up flood, but it's better not to have them

It's an alert().

I don't like Pop-up blockers. Or HOSTS files. There's so many sites around I visit a lot that depend on advertising to stay alive. And pop-ups aren't that annoying anyway. Plus some pop-ups are useful. I mean how else would I find out new porn sites?

So you don't like animated screenshots because they look like ads, yet you like pop-ups?
