msn nicks

Ugh jesus christ, why is it everyone wants a msn nick that makes it hard to find where the nick ends and conversation starts?

It says Msn "Nick". Not Favorite Lyic. Not random stupid quote. Not your penis size, phone number, aol screen name, mom's maiden name, pet name for your ass hairs, etc. NICK. NICKS ARE MEANT TO BE SHORT.

nick·name Audio pronunciation of "nickname" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (nknm)
n.

1. A descriptive name added to or replacing the actual name of a person, place, or thing.
2. A familiar or shortened form of a proper name.

Nowhere does it say "A quote from your favorite movie", "Some really long song lyric", or "To FIll a field til it is filled to its max allowed amount of characters". JUST USE YOUR DAMN NAME. NAME. I dont care about your pets, I dont care where you are going on vacation, I dont want to see your life story. If I did, Id have a conversation with you and let you TELL ME, not read it on my contact list where all I want to see is people's names and not see these really long nicks that make the buddylist on the web version of msn have horizontal scroll bars.

It's good that I don't have any attraction at all to MSN...One failed society that I can safely keep away from...

Alex Jones: Do you want the puppet on the right or the puppet on the left? What a bunch of garbage; liberal democrat, conservative, republican. It's all there to control you! Two sides of the same coin. Two management teams bidding for control, the CEO job of Slavery, Incorporated! The truth is out there in front of you, but they lay out this buffet of lies. I'm sick of it, and I'm not going to take a bite out of it, do you got me?

I feel the pain, too.
One simple name for me on mine.
'Alida' or 'Azrael' which is my nickname.
Very rarely it's 'Alida - Short Reason for Absence'
But that's why I have MSPlus -- The little handy answering machine feature.

Mine's pretty much permanently set to my name, sometimes a short away message added to the end. And yes, nicks are meant to be short.

Pah, I always start mine with "dBMVFmFTMJF", and if you're not colourblind you should have no trouble reading a tail to a name.

I don't think of MSN names as nicks, I use the email address to identify the person. IM programs aren't the same as group chat, which is why it works so abysmally in them

I have to admit that it's really annoying to try to figure out who is who when theres 20 friends on msn, and none of 'em are on real names.. Ok Ok! I'm guilty too

*goes and changes nick to real name*

I use Trillian, so I can just override my contact's screenname if I want. I don't have many people on MSN in my contact list, though. And I just leave my MSN screennames the same as my hotmail addresses. Makes it easy.

I never keep long screen names. I know what a pain they can be.

i actually registered "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" somewhere at one point in the long forgotten past, mainly cause i needed something that wasn't taken and everything i tried was.

admitably, i am an asshole though.

I hate everyone, so you don't have to.
