If Winamp hangs once...

it can only be quit with the Task Manager.

Winamp neatly quits and doesn't leave behind anything.
That's the idealistic way of thinking, folks.
Indeed there's no memory leaks or such.

BUT there is a blocked audio device which forces you to do a FULL REBOOT to get sound again.
Media Player will NOT work either!

Could Winamp be made a little more hang-proof by freeing up all audio resources even if everything else hangs? That's my wish.

Well, there's nothing I love more than reboots.
