Making the Crossfader in Winamp 5.03 sound like the one in Winamp 3

Hey, i wonder if you can help.

I use winamp 5 as my normal music player. But i really miss the crossfade sound that i got using Winamp 3 (and even wasabi player now) out of the box!! Can anyone tell me the settings to use (in directsound or whatever) to enable me to get the same smooth crossfade in winamp 5 as i did in winamp 3. To me at the moment the winamp5 crossfade is a bit jagged, and the new track doesn't seem to fade in, it just starts 5 seconds before the last track finishes.

I hope you guys can help

talking abuot the crossfader, I always get a problem with it in ver5: if I play just a single song, it stops a few seconds before it ends. Then when I do play, it crossfades from those last seconds to the beginning. Should that happen?
