Self-Extracting Exe Packer

So I got hit hard with false positives from various websites doing virus scans (including my own host) for my NSIS packed plugins and applications. Even on archived installers that had no problems before. Apparently NSIS gets tagged by virus scanners quite a bit.

So that's why I've made my own self-extracting packer utility with automatic AES encryption to obfuscate the NSIS installer from anti-virus scanners. I will be using this packer for my stuff from now on.

I'm also making this utility available for free, even for commercial use.

It's relatively easy to use. Pack your installer and any associated installation files into a single zip archive, select it into the packer, set the file to execute and other parameters that you want/need, then pack it. It will output a single self-extracting executable that will unpack your archive, execute your file, wait for your file to finish running, then cleanup the unpacked archive.

Both packer and self-extractor are simple user friendly interfaces with intuitive auto selection functions. The self-extractor has a minimal interface with only 2 controls (count not including the [Extract] and [Close] buttons.)

Attached.

Forgot to mention, the download package uses NSIS installer to install it like an application but the packer can also be used stand-alone, like from a pen drive or whatever. The packer itself doesn't make/leave any configuration settings.
