Locking Skin Components

Hello all,

I have just started using WinAmp and I found a skin that I really like. I'm using the 2015 JVC Skin that can be found here http://djpete1959.deviantart.com/art...ould-575947619. However, i'm having a problem with locking my components. The 5 main skin components remain where I put them, but upon restarting the positioning and sizing of my playlist editor, media library, and visualizer reset. Is there a way I can lock these three components so they don't reset?

Thanks in advance,
Mutton

Moved the thread to Modern skins section.

Try renaming studio.xnf to oldstudio.xnf in X:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Winamp ("X" is the disk where you installed Winamp, usually "C") and see if the issue is gone (at first, all windows will be reset). Maybe it got corrupted somehow.

If that doesn't work, we can ask the original skinner to see if there is something missing in the skin itself.

That is an old version of scottiescotsman's JVC Tape skin. Get the latest version here: JVC.TAPE.v1.1.0 by scottiescotsman

Are you sure the updated .zip file contains a Winamp Skin (*.wal) file?

Winamp is able to extract a skin from a .zip archive file (.wal is just another type of archive file). Just place the zip file in your Winamp skins folder.

... was something I was not aware of.

Thanks for the clarification ...

@Ariszló

Thank you for the update link. I could not stop making stupid faces while running the old version yesterday.
