iPod Sync Problems with Multiple CD Album

Hopefully I can describe this completely...

When I use the iPod sync portion of WinAMP, it appears to "upload" everything from my media library fine with the exception of multiple discs (or CDs) album sets..

For example...

If I have an album by Joe Blow called Greatest Hits and it consists of Disc 01 with 10 tracks and Disc 02 with 10 tracks...after the sync process when I go to play the album back on the iPod it plays in the following order:

Disc 01 - Track 01
Disc 02 - Track 01
Disc 01 - Track 02
Disc 02 - Track 02

and so on...

Now I have done some basic troubleshooting and when I do the same transfer through the iTunes software it plays back correctly... so, that tells me that the .mp3 files have been tagged correctly to allow for the correct sorting and play order.


Anyone from the community have any ideas or do actual support team members surf these forums?

oh dear - after much searching I find this - 2 years on and still not fixed - winamp has been such a dissapointment
