Winamp crashes after latest Windows 10 upgrade.

I was using version 3.6x . Everything seemed to work as it always has.
Upon playback, if I attempt to pause/stop or skip to next song, it freezes.
I thought it may be the version and found the Winamp website with version 3.8.
I installed that. It still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

there's no such thing as 3.6x or 3.8, I assume you mean the 5.x It is most likely due to a plugin issue, have you tried a clean install?
