Yeah, they're okay but annoying at times. Just like most modern bands/rappers/performers.

Go read a book without pictures

I like rap, but when I hear this song, or I hear people singing it, I just want to burn my ears in sulphuric acid.

Candy Shop isn't music. It isn't rap. It's sheer torture.

Well, I think so anyway.

Candy Shop isn't the greatest song in the world, but it's not that bad either. It's actually pretty decent for mainstream rap. Most rappers wouldn't say "i'll take you to the candy shop, i'll let you lick my lollipop".

They'd say "Let's fuck bitch, and you can suck my dick". Which is worse?

The lollipop version, because then it's played on the radio and you've got 8 year olds walking around singing it

yeah, i'm back.

Yeah true. In terms of public decency, Candy Shop is worse. It's not explicit enough to warrant censorship, but it's vulgar enough that having your 10 year old singing it is bad.

Though in terms of overall decency, it's definately not as bad as many other songs by womanizing (not sure if that's with an s of not..) rappers.

I like 50 Cent.. and he knew this song would be a hit (I even thought it was quite entertaining at first). But I agree, it sucks to be driving in your car with your mom and Candy Shop comes on.

At first I thought that was pretty bad.. then 'Just A Lil' Bit' came out.. driving with my mom will never be the same again .

Trillville - Some Cut

is worse but at least since the song uses no metaphors, the radio version is essentially worded differently.

yeah, i'm back.

Trillville are just a few of your many typical rappers in the industry right now.

People like that, and Mike Jones, Chingy, Jody Breeze, Cassidy etc. just all kind of blend in together in my mind.

10 years from now, nobody will remember or care about these people. They are just making some quick money. They are nothing special.

Yes, i Agree sometimes rap artist can be a little over the top when they talk about girls. Seems all that's on TV and on the radio is about sex and violence. Someday we will all live in the world were everyone is actully and little bit more.. [insert your word]. :P

The world isn't going to get any better. It may reach a low point and stay there, but we are definately not getting any more decent.

Besides, the people who think hip hop music is society's biggest problem (and there are many), are just stupid. Fuck war, fuck disease.. people rhyming about guns and drugs has everybody acting crazy

But, but, the music causes the problems, then we make music about them which causes more.

If that was how things worked I'd be well on my way to a Homicidal Satanist.
