how I add more columns for the playlist?

I am a newbie Winamp user in my first week. So far I love the program.

I need to add a column for "filename" and a column for "notes" (metafile). This is possible to do in the library. But I have not found a way to do it in the playlist. Help?

Hi smoky,

The playlist doesn't use columns.

You can, however, add extra info to the playlist entries, but they won't line up or allow sorting in the way that you can with the media library.

Go to Prefs > Gen Prefs > Titles > Advanced Title Formatting.
Use the 'ATF Help' link to get full details and usage.

Thank you. Hope someday they handle columns like the library. Is it possible to have multiple libraries?

My plan was to place songs in different playlist categories. Then when I do a show I can go to whichever categories I need and select songs from those categories. If multiple libraries are available I could use libraries instead of playlist categories. ??

You can create smart views in your library related to different categories, then you can simply load a whole category to your playlist. No need for several libraries.
