We were talking earlier in this thread about incredibly long discographies. Here's another one I just came across...I had never looked at his entire list before. Wow!

David Bowie

True, but there's no escaping the man. He's recorded so many classics and influenced so many bands.....

Hail the king of the 70's...

Here are some album samples (pardon the 20kbps sound quality...they load fast, though )

Low

Heroes

Scary Monsters

Ziggy Stardust (30th Anniversary Edition)

If you can hear through all the encoding artifacts, maybe these will give you some idea of what Bowie is like.

He's a true musical genious in so many ways. And still recording, too.

Yep. I'm on Fall album 15ish and still finding more. However, this year I will concentrate on finishing my Trojan Records Box Set collection.

It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this.

That's impossible marvin. There are more trojan compilations than...... boy band tracks in apola's playlist.

There must be at least 50...

I know, but its a hobby. As for apola's playlist, isn't that just the same song re-recorded for different bands?

You've seen apola's playlist? Where?????

I quite fancy the 'New Wave Complex' compilations, but apparently someone just tinkered them together on the net (and it took flight). There's no point of reference, no web-site or anything.

Damned mysterious.

I can't be assed with Prog Rock (actually).

I'm collecting just 4 genres:

Post-Punk
Darkwave
Electroclash/Detroit Techno
New Wave

Maybe later in the year I'll finish off dreampop. I say finish off, there are tonnes of albums...... Hmmmmmmmm.
