Need some serious help (configuring edcast with shoutcast)

Hey everyone. I am trying to configure EdCast with Shoutcast.

So far I have done the whole thing where you replace the file in edcast that allows MP3 Lame.

But I am having so much trouble setting it up. This is how I have the set up:

Bitrate: 128
Sample rate: 44100
Channels: 2
Encoder Type: MP3 Lame
Server Type: Shoutcast
Server IP: I have no idea what to put here
Server port: It says 8000, but I have no idea what to put here
Encoder password: NO idea what to put here
Mountpoint: NO idea what to put here

What exactly do I have to put in for it to connect with ShoutCast?

Lastly, I don't know how I should set up Shoutcast in WinAmp. What should I put for:

Connection:
Address:
Station ID:
Port:
Password:
Input:

Anything helps. I am so confused. If anyone wants to reach me via AIM to help out, let me know. I would be so appreciative.

Don't get mad, get informed. So I hear you want to set up an mp3 radio. I'm sorry that noone here has had the time to help you out, but let me at least try to help you out.

You see that you need to have a shoutcast server, and the IP that is required for your server. In my case, I'm using a freeware stream server that http://freestreamhosting.org/ gives away for free. So let's take a look at my setup shall we?

Server IP: Here I put my adress to the server provider, in my case: s10.myradiostream.com.

Server port: Here you fill in the server port that you received from your server. You know I cannot give out my port though, but let's just say that it is above 10000.

User ID: If you use the Shoutcast DSP plugin then you'll need to fill in the port here as well.

Encoder password: Here you put the encoder password that you set when you created the server.

Mountpoint: This is related to IceCast users, I'd say leave this unchanged.

So let's say that you've registered for a server on http://freestreamhosting.org. You get a page on the server that gives you a player, advertisement (to pay the free server), a chat and some links to the stream in Winamp and other players. In my case the adress is:

http://s10.myradiostream.com/31358.html

You also get a lot of scripts so you can build up your own radio page if needed.
