Stream Beats

Hey guys,

Needed help on this one. We had posted a plugin called "Stream Beats" on your submit a plugin section.

The message stated that it would approximately take over a week's time for Winamp's testers to give the plugin a green signal and make it downloadable over winamp.com under the plugin's section.

Unfortunately, it has been over 2 weeks and we are still awaiting confirmation.

Can anyone please guide, as to what should be out next steps or what can be done to know the status of the plugin testing.

that would be the one with 5 submission attempts made for it since the 29th April (making it a week and a half since intiail submission).

as there have been issues with the submissions process not appearing on the main site over the last 2 months, until absolute confirmation of those issues is provided there is essentially no plug-ins or skins being reviewed. when it is signalled as ok to proceed then it will be eventually reviewed but i have no idea when / who will be doing it.

Thank you Daz, for your quick response. There were 5 attempts made - because we had revised 3 versions and uploaded each.

It's kinda sad, that Winamp is having issues with the submission and I can completely understand that there are no fixed date provided.

Is there any other way we could publicize this on an official winamp network. Makes the entire project look more authenticated and trustworthy.

I'll keep my eye on the status of the plugin submission - Just in case ;-) .

there's always been issues with the submission system over the 9 years i've been around Winamp properly (hence my scepticism about using it).

possibly relying on winamp.com as your primary delivery method is not a good idea but that would be your call. not sure on other ways to publicise it 'officially', maybe try sending something via the site feedback and it'll hopefully get passed on to someone related to such things.
