lame-tag error
i'm trying to rip my entire cd collection and encountered a problem:
i have two drives. when I start ripping a cd while the other drive is already in use i get the error message: "Error updating LAME-tag frame: can't open file for reading and writing" it also locks the cd drive that was already running. i have to restart my pc to open it again :/ any solutions? thx ![]() |

in my exp, I found it wasn't a good idea to do what ur doing. so I stopped.
in general, it seems that the interfaces for drives and the software that uses them aren't robust enough to handle it. PENN STATE Radio or http://www.LION-Radio.org/ -- BUG #1 = Winamp skips short tracks Wish #1 = Multiple Column Sorting Wish #2 = Add TCMP/Compilation editing |

Hi euphoricWool,
More details please. What was/is the other drive in use doing? Are you using 1 instance of Winamp? Have you tried using 2 (1 for each drive)? Windows 11 Home 64-bit v22H2 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system |
