Stop MP3s from appearing in Recent Items Win 7

I was using Windows Media Player but decided to switch to Winamp. Previously I would select my MP3s, right-click and add them to the Media Player Playlist. I still do pretty much the same thing - select the MP3s , right-click, and "enqueue in Winamp." I've noticed that when I do this, the MP3s now show up in my Recent Items list. Is there a way to stop this behavior w/o stopping the display of other Recent Items? Ex - there are some documents I like to keep in that list. But now it gets filled up with MP3s.
This might be a Win 7 issue but since it started after I installed Winamp I figured I check here too. Thanks
