I want to use my primary shoutcast server to only feed relays so I have reduced the max listener count and reserved the ip's of my relays. The problem is that when listeners connect the first server in the cluster list is my primary shoutcast server which will always be continuously full. Depending on a listeners settings winamp should try the next server in the cluster list until it finds a non-full relay. Is there any way using the public/private settings in shoutcast server configuration to prevent the listen link on shoutcast yp from attempting to connect to my primary server, thereby forcing initial connections to relays?

Try setting the primary server max listeners to just accomodate you relays. Probably a good idea to reserve their ips as well.

IBIG - Relax.
