AIM File Transfer + Winamp 5

I searched around but found nothing in the archive relating to this problem. If I missed it, I apologize.

Been using the latest versions of Winamp5 as they come out. I recently began sharing some files with some friends on AIM (latest version) when I notice that if Winamp5 is open the same time a file transfer in AIM is initiated, and winamp5 is touched in any way, the file transfer freezes, and never resumes, even after closing Winamp. It's funny, cuz the other party in the file transfer can be using winamp5 just fine without problems. We can't figure out what's happening. Any ideas?

XP2400+
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe mobo
nForce onboard SoundStorm (latest drivers)
512mb P3200 RAM
WinXP Pro SP1
Latest DirectX
NO Winamp Plugins other than whatever's default.

not sure what the issue is. sounds like something with ur computer (running program, virus, some hijacker) rather than winamp or aim. i haven't had a problem at all so can't say.

When you take a hand and chop the fingers off... what do u get?

That would be the knub.
