XML Namespaces ?

Hi folks,

to get firm with the newest Elements of WinampAbstractionLayer [ version="0.8" ], I put all excluded parts of skin.xml back to one singel file. When I tryed to open that file in InternetExplorer (>=5.0) I got an error message like: ".. wrong XML-Syntax .. more than one [ : ] are not allowed". And also I know that from the XML language convention. The errormessage reffers to elements like the following:

code:

<Wasabi:StandardFrame:NoStatus
x="0" y="0" w="0" h="0" relatw="1" relath="1"
content="player.content.group"
padtitleleft="12"
padtitleright="28"
shade="shade"
/> XML-Syntax Error

Question 1:
Is Wasabi here the Namespace for Elements which are build with Wasabi's basic widgets?
If not Winamp3 does not use XML but just somthing close to it .. just a lookalike

Question 2:
Are AddOns:, ColorThemes:, SkinSwith: also Namespaces?
These are to find in the files below the Winamp3\Wacs\xml folder.

I attach the little modified skin.xml file which would be wellformed XML - but does not work because I changed the second [ : ] in by [ _ ] :

code:

<Wasabi:StandardFrame_NoStatus
x="0" y="0" w="0" h="0" relatw="1" relath="1"
content="player.content.group"
padtitleleft="12"
padtitleright="28"
shade="shade"
/> No XML-Syntax Error

Maybe I misunderstood somthing but two [ : ] are definitely no XML.

bye

.. Puhh, thistime the upload worked

If you open the default_skin.xml in your IE, you should be able to collapse and open XML-Elements like in a Windowmanager.
