probably not.

you'd probably be better off looking for an existing DSP which does that, and then use a DSP stacker like the one from http://mlplugin.try.hu to chain the DSP output from the first into the Source DSP.

there's basically a limit on what can be offered in the DSP as a freebie and currently the only things which are properly planned is improving custom metadata support, fixing vista/windows 7 related mic/input issues and any other bugs which appear with it.

i just don't think adding in a noise gate would really be worth the effort i'd have to go through to implement and test it (as well as brushing off my limited audio handling knowledge from 10yrs back) for something which seems to be very niche.

i run a relay stream of this station here it has a bad hum on it and noise gating is the only that will remove it http://www.radioreference.com/apps/a...wp&feedId=4746

even with the winamp eq turned down its still bad

if things are humming, i'd more focus on trying to resolve that at the source, rather than bodging something in the dsp, etc to cover up an issue which i wouldn't be surprised is more from machine settings - not knowing how you're doing the relay (which i can't hear anything on anyway at the moment), i wouldn't be surprised if you've got the gain set to high on the inputs.

if what you've posted above is the original stream which is then being relayed, that is what has the problem and is most likely from how the audio is being obtained to begin with as it sounds like a poorly setup line-in capture. also it's running on an Icecast server, that might even be the issue (doubtful but is a possibility).

tbh, i'm not sure what to suggest / say since your input stream is poor quality to begin with which isn't too surprising for 16kbps@22kHz sampling and i just don't see the benefit for trying to implement something which is so niche when i've a tonne of other things to implement in all of the tools.
