in_flv: Not all VP6 files display video

I downloaded a couple of FLVs from Nico Nico Douga (a Japanese video site, somewhat similar to YouTube), and wanted to play these in Winamp. However, some of them don't show video - only audio is heard.

My first thought was that the file didn't use VP6, but both GSpot and a standalone player show it's VP6.

EDIT: I noticed the flag "can seek to end" was set to "no" on the videos that wouldn't play, but I just found a video that plays in Winamp and has the flag set to no, so that isn't it after all.

RE-EDIT: I've put the files in question on http://birdiesoft.dk/flvs.7z (25.8MB - sorry about the size, I don't have any smaller FLVs to illustrate the problem!). I'd appreciate it if you can tell me when you've downloaded them, so I can free up the space on my webserver.

One for Nunz plugin list is attached (should be clean, but didn't make a difference in testing). Vista Ultimate x86 SP1, Winamp 5.531 Pro.

Screenshots of both Winamp and the standalone player, side by side, are available here:

Both files play ok for me, though I am using the latest in_flv included with the latest internal Winamp beta build - so I guess we can assume that whatever issue there was with in_flv from 5.531 is already fixed for the next release...

If you can't wait until then, try the in_dshow workaround method instead:

Sounds good - I'll just use that other FLV player until the next beta is ready, easier that way.
