crossdomain.xml

I am told I need to place a crossdomain.xml file on my stream server to get a flash player to play AAC files from a shoutcaster server. http://www.musesradioplayer.com/faq#faq12

WHERE should this go on a linux server?

My sc_serv file is in /sc1/9018 and /sc1/8188

I have placed a crossdomain.xml file in these directories and they are not playing ball. I have made the files 777 just incase.

What do have to do get the XML recognized?

Tony

the simplest option is letting the DNAS do it for you than trying to get the files to be seen in say an apache server, etc. i cannot remember if the v1 DNAS allowed / provided means to self-host a crossdomain.xml but v2.2 will happily do it as well as auto-generating an appropriate file if one is not manually specified i.e. it'll use the configured ports in the v2.2's config file to generate things.
