advanced title formatting

i'm having trouble getting the song advanced title formatting (http://mlipod.sourceforge.net/wiki/U...itle_formating)
to work properly on my ipod 5. i've followed the instructions by adding the titleFormat=200 and titleFormatStr=.... codes into my winamp.ini with no success.
i've also tried the other method of editing the ml_ipod.ini using the pre-formed codes, also with no results. what do I need to do to have the ATF work on the ipod? i've tried adding new songs and syncing, but nothing happens.
any help would really be great, thanks!

Maybe you edited the ini while Winamp was running?

nah I definitely checked that. and did it several times, each option. what do I supposedly need to do to have it apply the setting?... just sync it?? maybe i'll try to re-install winamp and ml_ipod or something also.

I think you might have to delete all the songs from the iPod and resync it. Correct me if I'm wrong, abu...?

No, that should not be necessary.
Try with the 10x values first. Does that work? Attach your ini-file, please.

Here is my winamp.ini file. My winamp is on a D: hard drive (I doubt that matters). All i've done is add those 2 lines of code into the very bottom line of winamp.ini. did it need to go in a certain location?? I've also re-installed ml_ipod, so everything should be pretty much normal there.
I appreciate you guys trying to help out!

They must not be in the winamp.ini, but in the ml_ipod.ini on the iPod, in the [ml_ipod] section (not at the end of the file!). Read http://mlipod.sourceforge.net/wiki/Hidden_settings carefully.

(That was documented wrong in the Wiki! Sorry about that.)

Great. I fixed the Wiki entry, so the next one won't fall into the same traps.
