Shoutcast, Firewall and open ports

Hi all !

First sorry because I am sure it is a faq but I didn't manage to find the answer...

I have a question about listening to shoutcast servers. It looks like it is usual that the port number is 8000, but there are *many* servers using other ports numbers as well...

My question is : is there a way to be able to listen to *all* the shoutcast servers, besides opening every single port on the firewall ?

Thanks for any help !

Just allow full access for winamp.exe
...or at least that's how it works with ZoneAlarm.
Not sure what firewall you're using though...

The firewall is not on the same computer as winamp, so this wouldn't work.

I use PF, the firewall of OpenBSD, but I think this doesn't change anything, does it ?
