Karaoke purpose

I have a library of several thousands of songs on my PC inside a folder called "My Music". I am trying to organize them in folders and in sub-folders, so that they can easily be found & played for Karaoke purposes.

- My Music:
- English:
- Solos:
- Males

Now, let's say I "click" on a particular song. A Winamp window opens, which plays the music (mp3 file), and another window opens showing the lyrics (cdg file).

When I moved some of these songs from folder "My Music" to sub-folder "Males", the window showing the lyrics does not open. The music plays normally but the lyrics do not show-up, rendering these songs virtually useless for the purpose of Karaoke.

Can someone help?

You need to move the file with a .cdg extension as well as the mp3. It will be named the same as the mp3 file, except it has a .cdg extension. For example, you would have two files that match in the folder, such as :
Elton John - Your Song.mp3
Elton John - Your Song.cdg
Both need to reside in the same folder, otherwise it won't work, as you're finding.
