Oh yeah.....funny that real sugar is bad for you yet high fructose corn sugar is toxic.
Nice to taste what it is supposed to taste like after all these years.

Still a bit half-assed with those plastic bottles.

Should I mention that the regular euro version is still made with sugar (as is the Mexican one)?

Snapple is doing it as well:
Quote:
Real sugar is replacing the corn syrup. (Sugar vs. corn syrup, by the way, is the difference between Mexican and American Coca-Cola.) In some cases, that has actually resulted in a decrease in calories.

The old ingredient list for Lemon Snapple Iced Tea: “water, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, tea, natural flavors.” Calories: 200. The new ingredient list: “filtered water, sugar, citric acid, tea, natural flavors.” Calories: 160.
Meanwhile, the last thing I bought was a case of bottled water for after workouts. Of course, bottled water is also evil.

I did not know there was another terminator movie coming out until you posted that. It's not out here for another couple of weeks, is it worth it? (context: on my current budget, thats about half/third a weeks worth of food for me. So 'worth it' is quite apt.)

yeah. It's worth it. The huge assed terminator in it, and a digital cameo appearance of a certain T-800 make it so.

A lot of the Mexican sodas like Jarritos use real sugar. I got some Mexican Coca Cola that was also sugar instead of corn yuck. Yeah. It's hella good.

A new phone (that I can't afford) because my old one died. And is now in many pieces.

The cheapest phone I could buy (where has all the simple gone?) has a bunch of fancy features like camera and headset and plays music and has an FM tuner. But the gravy is: it has a microSD port and about 2 months ago I found a broken USB internet dongle with a 2GB microSD card in it which I chucked in a drawer. So, fish it out and I have a free upgrade .

I just fell in love with this Laguna LE524. I have more expensive guitars, but this little black bastard is a very fast shredder dive bomber with awesome gain. I wasn't intending to buy a new axe at all, but I played and believed.

Wow. That's one nice looking axe. What pickups are on that? Looks like a Floyd Rose as well.

They are house brand Alnico hums, but no fault there. Yep. Floyd Rose trem.

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Laguna-L...08-i1375186.gc

The price on these will about make your jaw drop on the floor, especially after you've played one. I was thinking hmmm... looks way sexy... too cheap.... couldn't be any good... then:

We eat the night, we drink the time
Make our dreams come true
And hungry eyes are passing by
On streets we call the zoo

... hey dude ... I need a strap and a case ....

Compare to my Ibanez RG-1570 at three times the money... Yeah, yeah, the Ibanez is a better axe, but not prettier, more fun to play, or better sounding.

I was thinking "Guitar B", but this is likely to be a daily driver...

lots of food

some clothes for work which starts soon

literally hundreds of gallons of gasoline since my last day posting here

a new pickup truck and a bedcap for it

tarp and tarp straps/bungee cords

lots of Subway subs on interstate highway exits

new road atlas

new internet/phone/cable service

chainsaw chains

wood splitting maul

it sucked so I took it back and bought a new maul handle for the old head

beer

new garden hose roller/retractor that bolts onto the building

kayak rentals

kettle one vodka (liter bottles)

Duracell 2600 milliamp rechargeable AA batteries

gauze

medical tape

burn cream

oil and filter

probably a lot more - I'll think of the other stuff and describe some of the above in more detail later.

Bought a replica katana the last time the flea market was in town to finish the set with my wakizashi and tanto...

Had to get a new power adaptor for my HP dv6000; Dropping your laptop on the side and bending the dopple is a good way to waste $80 further down the road...

Hi, Billy Mays here with Mighty Mendit!

Samurai Champloo box set ($35 plus S&H off Amazon) that came in today

Oh, and look what I did last weekend; Aren't stuck brake pistons great?

I have not bought this yet, but I don't think I am going to last much longer without it. Korg KP3.

If I do get this I am going to need a quality 24-bit/96khz usb audio interface as I still want to have the ability to run a line back to my mini to record my sets with the korg effects (this beast applies the effects to the master out only, which generally goes into the clubs system and not my computer). Anyone have any ideas that might not cost as much as the KP3 itself?

That is one of the series of videos that sold me on it (aside from playing with one). With the KP3 one could mix songs that have no business being together in a seamless fashion. Plus the creation of custom interludes into other songs would be endless and seamless.

If you really want to setup a DAW in the future, I would think that this would be very valuable for something like that as well. Considering the price for it's application potential and effects it is *fairly* inexpensive.
