audiobooks don't all show up in ipod list

I have got over 70 audiobook stored on my ipod (never know what I might want to "read" next).

I discovered recently that not all audiobooks show under the audiobook menu in my ipod, even though they are showing up in the right playlist on winamp both in wamp's library and in the ipod library view in winamp.

The files are m4b files made with the ipod audiobook converter, and they show up as music files when I use the search function. They behave like audiobook too (they remember where I last stopped playing). they just fon;t show up under the audiobook menu.

Any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it?

I should mention that according to MP3Tag I have properly tagged my audiobook with the "Audiobook" genre since it seems to be how the iPod recognizes it.
I have a filter as explained on the wiki, mine is:

genre = "Audiobook" OR genre = "Audiobooks" OR genre = "Speech" OR genre = "Audio book"

although I usually tag the ones I rip myself as Audiobook
