ICY 404 Resouce Not Found

yeah, i figure this has been posted 3747389370 times, and Ive searched, without much luck.

I am trying to connect to a shoutcast on now. Have port forwarding on my switch set from 8000-8005 to my internal machine IP, but no luck. the port the stream is using is 8000... whats going on? can anyone help?

Are you getting any errors in the DNAS log?

sorry for this level of retardedness, but I am only trying to listen to a stream, not broadcast (i am able to broadcast on port 8001).. for some reason, connecting to an existing stream via winamp always returns 404 resouce not found

I'm sorry for the confusion. That was my mistake. Have you tried clearing your internet cache?

Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on '404'.

Look for a post by orb73 titled:
ICY 404 Resource Not Found

Note: Other search criteria may yield more results.
