"404 not found" when using .m3u and WinAmp

Hello,

My boss, a client, and I are all having trouble making the .m3u audio files on this page stream the associated mp3s when using WinAmp as our audio player. We get the "http://1.1 404 Not Found" error in the WinAmp player. The files in question are at the bottom of the page under the topic heading: "Extended Program Excerpts."

We are all using Windows-based platforms. Windows Media Player plays these files just fine, so I know that there is no typo in the file paths.

I looked around extensively in the forum and FAQ and was unable to find a problem like this described by other WinAmp users, but if it is posted somewhere, my apologies in advance.

Thank you,

Andrew

Are you asking this as a "listener" or as the web page editor?

The MP3 stream(s) in the M3U playlists, contain filenames with spaces, thus that means the URL/address has spaces. Since spaces generally can not be used in URLs, they are represented as %20. If the spaces in the streaming address were replaced with %20, it should work just fine.

Example from first M3U

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

Thanks

Thank you very much -- inserting the %20 seems to have done the trick.

Best,

Andrew
