Push 2-channel MP3s out of 5.1 system via. plug-in?

Is this possible?

I don't want to use a system-wide setting (such as Speaker Fill in Windows) and searching the Winamp Plug-ins section of the website for "Surround" mostly produces results from 2002 and I didn't have much luck with AndrewLabs ATSurround for Winamp from 2009.

Ideally, whichever method I discover, I'd like it to work alongside the standard "Nullsoft DirectSound Output" plug-in so I can continue to use the settings within it's Fading tab.

I'm using "Matrix Mixer" (link below). It's an output plug-in that will use the DirectSound output plug-in (or any other output plug-in) without a stacker, after the matrix mixing. If you need help setting it up, I have posted instructions before.

Winamp v5.9.0.9999 - Quinto Black CT v3.6 skin

sadly, this is one of the reasons I've bought Creative soundcards for the past decade, the CMSS 3D Surround feature does exactly that on my 5.1 speaker setup. Not the answer you're looking for but I've been down the road you're on many many years ago- best of luck.
