I think they went on strike since I jumbled all there presets together... there's a ton more on the way too.
I think Jedi is doing most to whip up the scene but it is probably one of those sleepy times.

Ya I'm still around too, just been busy with work mostly. also been working on a few websites.

http://theupstageclub.net for my cousin
http://nice-shirt.com is my "t shirt empire" I'm using sub domains to make diffrent topics.
and my blog: http://blog.milkdrop.us

I'm still waiting on a reply concerning the legality of making milkdrop t shirts... stuff like "milkdrop rocks" manly using the name... since I'm sure I can use S.S.s from my own presets without any problems... but the whole "theme" would be lost without the before mentioned "milkdrop rocks" shirt so... dont know about you guys but i would like to have a mousepad or shirt with one of my presets on it

I have been brewing some ideas lately, mostly inspired by Babylon-warps copy-paste remixes.... kindof a preset generation program... maybe using a genetic algo to make "child" presets from some parents. but i want to combine that with another idea i've been brewing.. I dont know about you guys but i hate going through the forums just to d/l presets i may have missed... so what about a website that scrapes these forums and d/ls all the presets then ya just go there and it zips up the collection on the fly, mabye even a user tracking system so it only gives ya the presets since the last time you downloaded them? anyway if theres going to be a site that holds all the presets in a database, might as well do some processing in the off time and create some presets.

granted there are a lot of technical hurtles to jump over.. didn't someone already make a random preset generator a few years ago? logic is a logical next step. lol.

Blah!

it's a pity this board is so calm right now.
shaders make unbelievable presets possible, but there are only a very few people active. How can this be, since there was a time when this board was truly vivid?
do we first need a series of killer-presets to lure people or what?

Send me a new computer (with shader support) and I'd be pretty active.
