Contest: Design a logo

Hi,

I need a logo on my site, and I thought a little contest might fill the need.

What I have now is the Winamp logo, this should be replaced by a FusionAmp logo.

The logo should fit in with the site, watch for size and color choice.

Contest rules are simple, submit your logo in this thread, I pick the winner and send him/her $20.00 Canadian funds by PayPall.
The winning design will be chosen one week from today on Saturday, December 15, 2007.

Now what are you waiting for?

Ah, you want to know what site that would be:

I'm not much of a photoshop guy, but I did look at your markup. It makes baby jesus cry.

But seriously. It's a waste of bandwidth serving that much HTML when you could use CSS to lay your page out.

But. that's not what this thread is about.

Good luck with the image contest.

Gonna have to get in contact with Dr. Brown then.

I'll see if I can come up with something.

I'll try to come up with something in the next couple of days. No guarantees as to its quality, though.

20 bucks is a little shitty for a custom logo. Fuck it, I need the money. Brb.

No charge for this one.

I'll see if I can come up with something serious later on, if I get to it.

Colours are just to compliment themselves, texture is to protect, full-size vector available and such.

Leading, colors go with the site. In short, it would fit in with the overall scheme, although it looks like something could be added to complete it.

So far, runner up. Colors don't really sit well with the site, although the idea is not bad.

Like I said, the colours are just to compliment themselves...I suppose just for presentation - the white of the actual logo can be changed to anything (versitility!).

My first entry:

I know this still technically has the Winamp logo in it, but it's more of a proof of concept, so to speak. I can change it to whatever.

Please proofread your sentences before mocking someone else's.

That said, "Fushion" is pretty hilarious. Tucker, did you not think to look at any of the other entries (or perhaps the web site in question) before posting yours?

Anyway, here's one more shot at it.

What? You mean the misspelled logo gets second to last?

Well, well, it turnes out the contest has two winners with Sarge's modified logo. It might have helped too I had a night of sleep after a busy day yesterday.

Anyway, two winners, two prizes, and I'll also pay LuigiHann $10.00 for a runner up prize. Congratulations and thanks to all who participated.

It seems not everybody was happy with this contest, such is life. Nobody was forced to participate.

In the meantime, this thread has run its course and this might be the right time to apply that big padlock.

Thank you all very much for your interest.
