Album Art Dimensions
Hi! I couldn't find anything related to this in the forums or online, so I figured I'd go ahead and post.
I'm really enjoying the current version of Winamp, and I especially like the Album Art features. However, I can't help but notice that all the album art is downloaded at relatively small dimensions that, when stretched in the player, clearly distort. I was wondering: • Where does Winamp download the Album Art from? • Is it possible to configure it to download versions of Album Art with larger dimensions? Thanks! |

i believe it gets the art from AMG, not gracenote. thats based on my exp using winamp to get art.
it'll always maintain aspect ratio, but never be bigger than 200x200 u won't get it to do anything else. you'll have to find other ways. where do you see it stretched in the player? i use bento and even large icon view is smaller than 200x200 PENN STATE Radio or http://www.LION-Radio.org/ -- BUG #1 = Winamp skips short tracks Wish #1 = Multiple Column Sorting Wish #2 = Add TCMP/Compilation editing |

You can try AlbumArtDownloader XUI. It is free and it can download many different sizes.
